Pipe Relining (CIPP): What Is It?
Pipe relining, sometimes referred to as Cured In-Place Piping (CIPP), is a trenchless sewer repair technique. With pipe relining, your sewer lines are repaired by internally curing them with a unique resin that forms a new, long-lasting structural line inside the original host pipe. In certain instances, making a pipe that is far stronger than the prior one.
A polyester or fiberglass tube soaked in resin is inserted into the damaged pipe as part of the procedure. A new pipe is formed inside the old one as the resin hardens and cures.
Pipe Bursting: How does it work?
Pipe bursting is one technique for trenchless sewer repair. With pipe bursting, pipes made of clay, metal, PVC, cast iron, and plastic can be replaced with ones that are either slightly bigger or the same diameter as the old ones. Installing a threaded pipe with a bursting head attached at the end and feeding it through the damaged sewer line is how this is accomplished. The entire pipe is cracked and forced outward, creating a smooth space for the installation of the new sewer line.
