WHAT IS PIPE RELINING (CIPP)?
A method of trenchless sewer repair is pipe relining also known as Cured In-Place Piping (CIPP) Pipe relining repairs your sewer lines by curing them from the inside, using a special resin which cures, forming a new long term structural line inside the existing host pipe. In some case’s creating a much stronger pipe than the previous one.
The process involves inserting a resin-saturated tube made of polyester or fiberglass which is then inserted into the damaged pipe. The resin cures and hardens, forming a new pipe within the old one.
WHAT IS PIPE BURSTING?
One method of trenchless sewer repair is pipe bursting. Pipe bursting can burst and replace clay, metal, PVC, cast iron and plastic pipes, replacing them with the same diameter size or one slightly larger than the existing pipe. This is achieved by installing a threaded pipe with a bursting head attached at the end and fed through the broken sewer line. The entire pipe is broken and pushed outward making way for the new sewer line to be placed seamlessly
